Career Copilot started from a simple observation: a serious job search today means juggling a resume builder, a separate ATS checker, a job tracker spreadsheet, and an interview-prep app — none of which talk to each other, and none of which know anything about your actual resume once you close the tab.
We built Career Copilot as one place instead: upload a resume once, and the same engine scores it for ATS compatibility and overall quality, matches it against real open job postings, drafts a tailored cover letter, and runs interview practice specific to the role you're targeting. One dashboard, one source of truth.
How the scoring works
The resume analysis checks structural parseability (the same things an ATS parser checks — headers, columns, tables, contact-info placement), keyword and skill coverage against your target field, and quantification (whether your bullet points state outcomes, not just responsibilities). Job matching compares that same profile against a job description or a live posting and returns a compatibility percentage with the specific gaps driving it, not a black-box number.

Built first for technology professionals — software engineers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, product managers, and data analysts — searching in the US and European markets, though the resume scoring and interview coaching work for any field, since they're built to read what's actually on the resume rather than assume an industry.
Who's behind this
Career Copilot is built and maintained by me, Yağız Ergil. I'm not a large team with a press office — I built this because the tools I tried while job hunting either gave a score with no explanation or locked the useful part behind a paywall before telling me anything I could act on. If something on the site is wrong, confusing, or just not useful, that's on me to fix, and telling me directly is the fastest way to get it changed.
